archipelago\n<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-6a0578a elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"6a0578a\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>My adventure began on the island of <strong>San Cristobal<\/strong>, the capital of the archipelago, where I spent a week exploring and being in direct contact with nature. In the company of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/bluespirit.freediving\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Blue Spirit<\/a>, we sailed the crystal clear waters in search of unique marine species. <\/p><p>The group of freedivers, composed of people from different countries-from Hungary to Mexico, from England to Italy-made this experience even more compelling. During the dives we were fortunate to see different types of <strong>sharks<\/strong>, including <strong>blacktip<\/strong>, <strong>white tip<\/strong> and the spectacular <strong>hammerhead sharks<\/strong>. We literally &#8220;flew&#8221; into the Ocean alongside elegant <strong>eagle rays<\/strong> and playful <strong>sea lions<\/strong>, also encountering <strong>large turtles<\/strong>, <strong>iguanas<\/strong> (icons of the Gal\u00e1pagos) and a multitude of <strong>oceanic fish<\/strong>.  <\/p><p>The waters we dived into on this trip proved to be quite a sight: crystal clear, with a temperature around 24\u00b0 and a calmness that made each dive a moment of pure relaxation and contemplation.<\/p><p>On land, there was no shortage of contact with local wildlife: we visited the<em> Centro de Crianza de Tortugas Terrestres David Rodriguez<\/em> National Park, where the majestic <strong>giant tortoises<\/strong> left us breathless, while the <strong><em>gannets<\/em><\/strong> and large pelicans completed this fairy-tale natural picture.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-7c483c1 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"7c483c1\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Santa Cruz and surrounding islands\n<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-2afd30f elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"2afd30f\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>In the second part of the trip I moved to <strong>Santa Cruz<\/strong> Island, a more touristy place but still full of nature and surprises. From here I set out to explore the islands Isabela and Fernandina, famous for the colonies of equatorial penguins that populate their shores. <\/p><p>The route took us all the way to the north end, on<strong>Seymour Island<\/strong>, where the freediving expedition gave me the opportunity to dive with other <strong>Gal\u00e1pagos sharks-species<\/strong> native to the archipelago but also found in other parts of the world, and gorgeous and tame <strong>eagle rays<\/strong>, majestic <strong>mobulas<\/strong>, and new encounters with other <strong>hammerhead sharks<\/strong>.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-40efe26 e-con-full e-flex e-con e-child\" data-id=\"40efe26\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-f3cb857 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"f3cb857\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>I recommend everyone to visit this piece of paradise at least once in their life, even if you are not a freediver.
